This painting was inspired by a vintage photo found at an antique store. I picked it because I was captivated by the story it told. 
If I know anything about the original image, it will be written on the back of the frame.

Painting was done on heavy weight paper that can handle oil paints. The soft black matte sets off the gold frame and brings out the contrast in the painting.
